Your treatment will be individualized and structured around your specific circumstances. There are 3 common ways how you can start working with Dr. Bubis:

1. Initial Comprehensive Visit - when you have an ongoing chronic problem, or any other health concern that you would like to start working on.
2. Educational Consultation - when you need to better understand your options and treatment strategies, before actually starting the treatment. Recommended for complex cases and conditions, such as cancer, autism, multiple sclerosis, etc.
3. Acute Care Visit - for an acute condition such as cold, flu, gallbladder 'episode', acute gastro-intestinal distress, etc.

INITIAL COMPREHENSIVE VISIT

Your initial comprehensive visit will be 1 hour and 15 minutes, during which Dr. Bubis will review many important areas of your health such as:

• Your health goals
• Past medical history
• Symptoms you are experiencing
• Supplements and medications you are currently taking
• Diet and nutritional status
• Your lifestyle including stress level, physical activity, etc.
• Review of body systems and functions such as digestion, etc.
• Review of current/past lab tests

At the end of your initial visit you will be given a comprehensive treatment plan that most likely will include some, or all of the following:

• Dietary regimen
• Nutritional supplements
• Herbal formulas
• Homeopathic remedies
• Stress reduction techniques
• Do-at-home procedures, such as hydrotherapy, etc.

FOLLOW-UP VISITS

The number of follow-ups will largely depend on the severity and complexity of your condition. In most cases, 2 follow-up visits will be required and they are usually scheduled in one-month intervals. A follow-up visit lasts approximately 30 minutes.

LAB TESTING and DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURES

As a part your treatment plan, Dr. Bubis may also recommend specific conventional, nutritional, and functional testing to find areas of imbalance so that the cause of your problem can be better addressed. If necessary, he can order practically any lab test from a routine blood count and chemistry, to advanced assays and cancer markers. A sample will be taken in the office whenever possible, or you will be referred to one of the labs/drawing centers in your local area. When a case calls for it, Dr. Bubis also performs certain in-house tests that can help provide valuable clinical information.

REFERRALS

Dr. Bubis refers to specialists or other health care providers when the need arises. He frequently works in a complementary fashion with conventional medical doctors, chiropractors, acupuncturists, and other practitioners.
